We also offer a fully equipped day surgery unit, providing a broad spectrum of services including chronic pain management.
We endeavour to support our patients through the trauma of surgery by providing individualised, holistic care at all times, with regard to the mission statement of St.Vincent’s Private Hospital.
Sedation is also available to our patients for non-surgical procedures in radiology, cardiology and pain management.
Anaesthesia is a way to control pain during a surgery or procedure by using medicine called anaesthetics. It can help control your breathing, blood pressure, blood flow, and heart rate and rhythm. Other medicines may be used along with anaesthesia, such as ones to help you relax or to reverse the effects of anaesthesia.
