Education and Experience

Ms Looney is a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist with specialist expertise in both general urology and andrology, including male fertility surgery. She graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine from University College Dublin and completed Higher Surgical Training in Urology in Ireland.

She subsequently completed advanced subspecialty training in andrology at University College London Hospital, gaining expertise in male fertility surgery, surgical sperm retrieval, and the management of complex benign and malignant andrological conditions. She was appointed Consultant Urologist and Andrologist at St. Vincent’s University Hospital in 2024. Her research interests include fertility preservation and survivorship.
