Biography:
Dr O’Reilly is a graduate of University College Dublin, and completed her Higher Specialist Training in Gastroenterogy in Ireland in 2020. She was a UCD Newman Fellow in Colorectal Disease 2016-2018, and was subsequently awarded her MD in colorectal cancer screening.
She was awarded a Fulbright/HRB Health Impact scholarship award in 2025, which she used to undertake additional training in medical management of pancreatic disease and cancer surveillance/prevention at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston.
She is actively involved with the European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, in development of guidelines and position papers. She has published multiple academic papers, and attends and presents at national and international meetings on a regular basis.
